The growth of Hatboro-horsham robotics
Within the Hatboro-Horsham School District, our robotics program has grown due to our cycle of inspiration and involvement. Once just a single FRC team in 2001, we now have a total of 19 teams across all FIRST programs. Students in our FRC program become the mentors and leaders for the younger generations, inspiring STEM in our community. These students lead middle school FLL teams and share their expertise with them. Many alumni have returned to inspire the younger generation and hope to provide them with the great experiences they had. These actions have led to the birth of our first three FLL teams in the middle school for the 2012 season and the increased popularity led to three more teams in the following years. Moreover, we have expanded the FLL programs to the elementary schools and started FTC teams for the middle school level. We will continue with our positive cycle of inspiration and involvement in our school district, allowing many more students to pursue their passion in STEM.
